Broomhill Riding Centre is located on the beautiful Black Isle, only 20 minutes drive from Inverness. 

We offer a memorable riding experience in stunning countryside boasting glorious sea views, with our exclusive '100 Acre Wood Ride' offering a completely off-road outing with it's miles of tracks and paths to discover.  This is especially suited to novice, nervous or young riders, who can choose from half an hour to an hour on our carefully selected  mounts. 

For more experienced riders, we often venture further afield....anything from cantering across stubble fields to exploring the historic Roseaugh Estate...and of course, for those who really want a rush of adrenaline....the infamous beach ride along Chanonry Point (please note this ride is only suitable for experienced riders.)  

Day-long pub rides and picnic rides can be arranged and if that doesn't sound adventurous enough, why not join us on our annual legendary 'Black Isle Ride'.  This expedition departs late summer and lasts 3 - 4 days with a budget camping option or B & B accommodation if preferred .... it is truly the best way to discover the hidden delights of the surrounding farmland, woods, glens and beaches.

Our horses and ponies vary from sure-footed natives to cobs and hunter types, which have all been chosen for their temperament and aptitude for the job.  We are sure we have a mount whom you will love!

All of our Ride Leaders are TRSS qualified and will do their utmost to ensure you have an enjoyable riding experience with us.

We also have indoor and outdoor arenas with BHSAI qualified, experienced tuition available and are an active Pony Club Centre.
